Demerye M. Shingler brings over 25 years of dedicated leadership experience in early childhood education to St. Mark’s. A committed advocate for Charlotte families, Demerye has served as a Center Director for respected local programs, including Park Road Baptist Church and Childcare Network, where she successfully oversaw Meck PreK and NC PreK classrooms.

She holds a graduate degree in Education Management from Strayer University and is a certified NC Level III Administrator. Demerye’s expertise lies in developing holistic curricula, mentoring teaching staff, and maintaining rigorous state licensing standards.
